DETAILS

Adone is a lightweight and sustainable knit T-shirt for men featuring asymmetric jacquard stripes. Crafted with 100% cotton yarn, half organic and half recycled from industrial scraps, making it entirely biodegradable. Weight: 150 g

MATERIAL

COMPOSITION: 50% recycled cotton from production surplus, 50% organic cotton. This certified yarn contains a greater content of organic, virgin cotton, which enabled the creation of a 100% sustainable and recyclable garment. The recycled cotton scraps are sorted by color, eliminating the need for re-dyeing the yarn and thereby reducing substantial water and chemical consumption.

WASHING CARE: Hand washing is recommended. After, put it in a light spin cycle to drain excess water. Alternatively, wash it on a gentle cycle setting at a maximum of 30°C. Place it on a flat surface to air dry. Click here for more information on how to take care of Rifò garments.

    RECYCLED AND RECYCLABLE MATERIALS

    This garment is made with a yarn from the recycling of industrial cotton surplus. The surplus is carefully selected based on color and composition before being recycled. This process eliminates the need for re-dyeing the yarn, leading to substantial water savings and a reduction in the use of harmful dyes and chemicals.

    MADE IN ITALY

    This garment is meticulously handcrafted in Lena and Bruno's workshop, Tricot srl, located just 12 km from our office. We have been collaborating with this small family business since the inception of the Rifò project, growing together with each production.

    In 2022, we initiated a supply chain sustainability monitoring project focusing on social sustainability aspects, with the help of the auditing company Bureau Veritas. By 2025, we aim to subject all our clothing suppliers to this verification, including Tricot srl, to ensure that we prioritize social responsibility and sustainability across all aspects of our business.

    Contribute to our social project

    NEI NOSTRI PANNI PROJECT

    For every purchase made on our online shop, we donate €2 to the social impact project Nei Nostri Panni. This project aims to safeguard the artisanal skills of textile recycling in Prato, which are at risk of being lost without a new generation taking up these crafts. The donation will contribute to funding paid training for migrants coming from local reception centers. This initiative combines social integration with the preservation of traditional craftsmanship.
