Audrey is a light women's long-sleeved cotton sweater, sustainably made of a recycled cotton and organic cotton blend. The half mock neck makes it suitable for all seasons. The very fine stitch gives it a delicate ribbed texture throughout.

COMPOSITION: 50% recycled cotton from production surplus, 50% organic cotton.

WASHING CARE: To best take care of this recycled item, wash it at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle. If possible, prefer handwashing.

If you decide to handwash, give it a light spin to remove excess water and dry it naturally by laying it flat: this yarn may be subject to stretching due to the weight of the water.

The Audrey sweater was made by Bruno and Lena in their family workshop, with recycled yarn from Prato.

How it is made

This garment is made of a yarn obtained from a blend of organic cotton and recycled cotton from industrial textile waste.

Again, we turn waste into new resources designed to last over time.

Environmental impact

Organic cotton comes from a non-intensive cultivation , which does not deplete the soil and therefore requires much less water. This jersey allows to save about 84% of water, compared to a cotton genetically modified to be more productive.

Social impact

For every purchase on our online shop, we will donate 2€ to the social impact project Nei nostri panni, cenciaiolis to be, which aims to create a school for ragmen, the artisans of textile recycling. Every donation will support the training of young people coming from the local immigrant reception centres.

Who made it

Rifò sweaters are handcrafted by Lena and Bruno, the most beautiful couple in knitwear, in their little family workshop 12 km away from us.
