Instructions for Washing
As it used to be
We believe that we should give value to the garments we own, taking care of them to make them last longer. Every day we promote a coming back to an emotional fashion. Each of our clothes is precious because it is full of memories and emotions. This is why it is often so difficult to throw it away, even if it can get deteriorated.
This is why we suggest you to handwash your Rifò clothes and accessories, so that you can better preserve their material, doing at the same time a little but significant gesture for the planet’s health.
Moreover, handwashing recalls an ancient gesture that our grandmothers used to do, but we that aren’t used to anymore.
You can find some washing suggestions for your Rifò products below, even in the case that some persistant stains obligate you to use the washing machine.
Read this page until the end to discover an old “Grandma’s recipe” to get wonderful clothes after the washing.
Our upcyced cashmere garments and accessories should be handwashed but you can also wash them in the washing machine at 30° with “delicate” program.
If you decide to handwash them, lightly run the spin cycle to unload the water, then dry them naturally.
To keep in shape your Rifò towels and shawls we suggest you to wash them at 30° with “delicate” program, better if directly handwashed.
Moreover we suggest you to dry them traditionally hunging your laundry on a line.
